Members of the Penryn Camera Club had the pleasure of seeing some underwater pictures taken by an award-winning photographer based in Falmouth.
Shannon Moran is a Marine and Natural History Photography graduate of Falmouth University.
She showed the club members, her award-winning images taken both locally, in Scotland, and abroad.

Members of the club then asked Shannon some questions regarding her work which has seen her rewarded.
In 2020 Shannon was named as the Underwater Photographer of the Year for her image of a spider crab climbing across a creel wreckage.
In 2021 she was honorably mentioned for her picture of a Snakelock Anemone taken in Falmouth.
In 2022, she was highly commended for the British and Irish Underwater Photography Championships.
It’s not only picture taking that Shannon specialises in, she has also written articles around her work and gives advice on how to take a perfect underwater picture.
