HELSTON Town Council will be holding its first open market of the year at the Monument next Thursday (August 13) between 10am and 2pm.
Although the layout has had to be adjusted to allow for social distancing, there will be a range of merchandise on offer, including handmade cards and handmade scented soaps, fused glass, baked goods, cupcakes, as well as some charity stalls.
A spokesperson for the council said: "The council has issued Covid-19 guidance to all stallholders in respect of safe operating practices and measures will be in place to provide a safe but relaxed atmosphere for local people and visitors to enjoy the market."
The next two markets will be held on September 10 and October 8.
