A Newquay-based consultancy has announced three new members of staff.

Visitor attractions consultancy, Flamingo Marketing has welcomed three new recruits to its talented team of PR and Marketing specialists.

Flamingo specialise in marketing and PR for the leisure and tourism industry with a varied client base.

Experienced marketer Nadia Pendleton and journalist Matt Dixon joined the company ahead of the busy summer 2021 season alongside PR Executive Ollie Young, who recently started at the consultancy after also beginning his career in journalism.

Qualified in Public and Media Relations, Nadia has been working at the highest levels of hospitality, travel and tourism for over 20 years.

She is half Italian, has lived and worked in Amsterdam, Milan, Paris and Hong Kong and speaks three languages fluently.

Her previous experience includes working for two leading PR and Comms agencies in London before joining Gordon Ramsay Holdings organising private events and acting as duty manager across the group.

Nadia said: "I have always loved working within the attraction industry and really relish the excitement of working with such a diverse and interesting range of clients."

Matt Dixon has more than 20 years’ experience as a journalist, working for leading titles across the county.
