Most of Cornwall is set for a wet weekend according to Met Office reports.
It is certainly umbrella weather at the moment if you are venturing out and it looks set to stay for the near future.
Heavy rain/sleet and even hail fell in some parts throughout Friday evening and into Saturday morning, across the Duchy and most of the West Country.
The bad news is that the rain is here to stay for a bit, at least until Monday morning.
However, according to the Met Office in some parts the rain is set to ease slightly from heavy to light on Sunday compared to the earlier weekend's woes, and by Monday light cloud is expected for the majority of Cornwall.
Drivers are being advised to take extra care when driving in the far-from-ideal weather conditions. Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team tweeted a reminder to drive with caution on Friday afternoon following an road accident due to the conditions.
Please be careful. There are intermittent heavy showers and hail out there. This was one of five vehicles that crashed at Whiddon Down after hitting a heavy hail shower. All ok though. pic.twitter.com/dXLw8Ewzjz

The constant downpour has also meant that several sports teams have had to postpone their matches on Saturday. The South West Peninsula League West Division lost all it's scheduled games to the weather while games at Helston Athletic and Penryn RFC also fell victim to the rain.
