A hair salon in Falmouth has thanked its loyal customers for their support after being crowned the Packet’s Hairdresser Salon of The Year 2023.

After receiving a significant amount of nominations and votes, The Cutting Edge has been named the winner of this year's competition. 

The salon based at Falmouth Marina, North Parade was founded in 1993 by Alex Taylor and it currently hosts a team of ten. 

It has recently welcomed a refurbishment to give it a botanical look and feel.

Company Directors Alex and Emma Eva have thanked the customers for their support. In a joint statement, they said: “The Cutting Edge staff would like to thank everyone who voted for us and we are extremely proud to receive this amazing award.

"Over the 30 years of cutting, colouring, perming and giving treatments we have made long-term bonds with some of the loveliest people within our community and beyond. This is what we value above all else.
