Falmouth’s only escape room has been relaunched under new name Kernow Escape.

Previously known as Eureka Escape Cornwall, Kernow Escape is a hidden gem, located behind a single doorway on Market Street between Saltrock and Cafe Nero, which many people walk past each day without noticing.

But once inside, players can choose from fleeing a ship on a collision course with the rocks, escaping a twisted scientist’s laboratory or breaking free from an evil masseuse's spa and treatment room.

For those of you not in the know, an escape room is a real life gaming scenario - teams use their problem solving, logic and observational skills to solve puzzles, follow clues and complete tasks to make their way through (and ultimately out of) a themed room.

Owner, Ian Bagley, says that he is “excited to continue the running of the existing rooms”, but also, “can’t wait to unveil our new room designs in the very near future.”

Kernow Escape’s rooms are suitable for all: families and first timers to escape room enthusiasts all leave raving about their experience.

Ian and his staff of friendly and welcoming games leaders are experienced in guiding new players through their initial experience, which can seem a little daunting to the uninitiated at first, but players soon forget their nerves in the race to get out of the room before the timer runs out!
