Helston Athletic have completed the signing of Aaron Bentley from Southern League side Plymouth Parkway.
The centre back who used to play for Plymouth Argyle, Truro City and Plymouth Parkway to name a few, joins up with his brother Jordan Bentley who signed for Helston in January.
Athletic Manager Steve Massey revealed that the centre back would be available for Helston's match at home to Brislington on Saturday, 19 March.
Speaking to the Packet about how the transfer came about Massey said: "I was aware that maybe he was unsettled. Ryan Beattie had an injury with his ankle which looked like it will be really troublesome. I just thought that over these last couple of weeks I've moved a player on already who was an established member of the squad because I am just looking at next season now. It was something I looked at and thought I could start doing.
"I could let these last nine/ten games go by, or we could start recruiting now. The top four was always our target.
"We overachieved up until Christmas then as all teams do we had a blip. Now we thought we would start planning, when quality players come around, present themselves and say they would be very keen and interested in joining you then you can't ignore that."
"I wanted to act quickly with one eye on next year, if we can get a squad sorted the better it will be."

Aaron and Jordan Bentley won't be the first brotherly centre back pairing for Helston after Ryan and Scott Beattie have previously lined up for the Blues.
Helston have kept a clean sheet in their last two outings and recorded a resounding 3-0 win over Tavistock in their last game on Tuesday, March 15.
