Bickland Water Road is now free of traffic lights after nearly a year.
A first set of lights was put up in April 2018 to manage traffic around the ongoing Persimmons Homes development.
This set was originally meant to be taken down on November 21, but unforeseen utility works extended this deadline to just before Christmas.
Just when residents thought that their traffic woes were behind them – another two sets of lights were put up on the road.
One of these sets of lights, on the junction of Bickland Water Road and Mongleath Road, was installed by South West Water and came down just weeks later.
The other was set up for a drainage pipe to be installed, and was due to come down on March 1 but ended up being taken down on Friday (February 22), a few days earlier than expected.
A Cornwall Council spokesperson said further traffic management measures on the road were not likely.
